The PSR-S offers 850 tones of various instruments and other sounds. Super Articulation Voices allow you to play subtle, highly realistic variations of these sounds in real time, simply by the way you play the keyboard or by using foot controllers.

Unison & Accent Function

With the powerful "Unison & Accent" function, you can control style playback expressively and precisely so that it follows your playing exactly and allows you to create various musical variations in the accompaniment. When the Unison mode is activated, you can play a melody or an improvised phrase and have it played unisono (i.e., the same part performed by two or more instruments) or tutti (i.e., all players playing at the same time).

This makes your playing more expressive and lets you create dynamic phrases. When the Accent mode is activated, style playback changes subtly and dynamically, adding notes according to the accents in your playing. This function also lets you create an expression effect, for example, by changing style playback to syncopations.

Control Your Music

Smart Chord

This feature lets you control styles with a single finger, as long as you know the key of the music pieces you play, even if you don’t know any chord fingerings for major, minor, diminished, etc. When you press a key, the chords suitable for the music genre sound as if you were playing the "correct" chords. The Multi Pads can be used to play short, pre-made rhythm and melody sequences to add more expression and variety to your song.
