Everything else is very well made and cannot be compared with earlier models. Quality assurance has improved considerably at Gibson but unfortunately not yet really at PRS level.
As far as the sound is concerned, this is a freight train without having to hang the weight of a real freight train around your neck. If you can live with the fact that a brand new 2000 Euro guitar comes with flaws, then I can recommend anyone to order it.
However, if you want a guitar that really comes close to the sound, with at least the same playability and perfect quality assurance - then treat yourself to a PRS for 1400 euros less. I play it just as often as my Les Paul or my Stratocaster.
