Weighted Hammer Keyboard with Adjustable Touch Sensitivity

The weighted keyboard of the DP-210 with real hammer action authentically simulates the playing feel of an acoustic piano with traditional mechanics. The 88 keys offer a certain "natural" resistance when pressed down, just like classic acoustic pianos. The keyboard is also velocity-sensitive, meaning the tones sound louder or softer depending on how hard you press a key. With the different settings ("Touch Response" = velocity sensitivity), you can, for example, produce a comparatively loud sound even with a gentle touch (setting "Soft"). This feature is especially helpful for the youngest piano beginners. To reliably protect the keyboard from dust, the DP-210 comes with a keyboard cover.

64-Note Polyphony

Thanks to the 64-note polyphony, the electric piano can play up to 64 tones simultaneously. This range of available tones allows the player to use voices from various music styles, from classical to rock, anytime with stereo sound.

26 Different Sounds

The extensive selection of 26 high-quality WMA voices allows for different melodic accents and thus creates a variety of moods. Pianists can enjoy plenty of room for experimentation. The "Dual Mode" (Layer) and "Split Mode" Functions

With the "Layer" function, you can combine two voices—such as strings and piano—layered on top of each other to create a particularly impressive, full sound. "Split" divides your keyboard into two separate zones. You can assign different voices to each zone and, for example, play strings with your left hand and piano with your right. In both "Layer" and "Split" modes, the volume of the different sounds can be adjusted separately.

Metronome and Headphone Jacks

To help you keep the right beat and tempo while practicing, the DP-210 includes an integrated metronome. Both tempo and volume of the metronome can be adjusted as desired. Additionally, the DP-210 features two headphone jacks, allowing you to practice and play anytime without disturbing neighbors. The second headphone jack lets others listen to your playing "silently."

The "Soft," "Sostenuto," and "Sustain" Pedals

The DP-210 digital piano offers three pedals like an acoustic grand piano, allowing you to specifically influence the sound of the pieces you play. The soft pedal on the left and the sostenuto pedal in the middle are played with the left foot. The sustain pedal on the right is usually used most often; it lets all notes ring out. The middle sostenuto pedal sustains only notes that are already played. The left soft pedal reduces the volume of struck notes and produces a softer sound.

Piano Bench

The included piano bench combines elegant looks with high-quality features such as sturdy legs with non-slip rubber feet, a smooth, precise spindle mechanism with double scissor system for reliable height adjustment, and a durable, comfortable seat covered in white corduroy fabric.

Headphones

The included headphones deliver full, balanced sound with rich bass and clear highs. They offer plenty of volume and precise stereo imaging. The softly padded, wide headband is adjustable in length with 12 steps per side for a perfect fit. For extra comfort, the ear cups rotate on two axes. The thick, soft padding of the circumaural ear cups also provides good external noise isolation. The 3.5 mm stereo jack ensures excellent transmission quality, and a 6.3 mm stereo adapter is included.
