The Yamaha TRBX makes it a lot of fun. I wanted a good sounding wood, not a yatoba ect. Found it here, the neck is super flat and well set up from the factory. The fret purity fits as well. Weight is good and it fits well to the body.
A real plus is the active EQ. In fact, you don't have to fiddle with knobs and amp. Pick is pick and finger is finger. Very nice.
The workmanship is top. There are no gaps, the knobs go with the right gravity. The pickups take in my case with the 305 also the B-side super. Beautifully audible, no absumpfen in the basement.
So all in all, especially at the current price, a double thumbs up.
