The Ultimate Party Box - For Indoors & Outdoors!
The McGrey DJ-1022 is the ideal party speaker — whether it’s a boisterous summer bash, a roaring festival party or a prom blowout, this speaker will make walls (and tents) shake!
Not For The Faint-Hearted
A 10" woofer with two bass-reflex ports delivers serious punch for the room. In the high end, two piezos provide razor-sharp, crisp sounds. The connections are provided as clamps and jack inputs to ensure maximum flexibility. That way the speakers can be hooked up to either a PA power amp or a hi-fi amplifier.
Tough Shell
This party box is built tough. The robust wooden cabinet is covered in felt, so it isn’t fazed by a bit of dirt and dust. A metal grille also protects the woofer from over-enthusiastic party-goers. With practical carrying handles on both sides it’s easy to set up or reposition.
Big Or Small, The Party Box Is Essential
But that’s not all, party people! The McGrey DJ-1022 is a powerful full-range speaker with balanced sound characteristics. It’s therefore perfect for events of all kinds, such as sound reinforcement for party basements, wedding and birthday celebrations, or music concerts.
Eat, Sleep, Party & Repeat!

So to the processing first:
Are relatively well processed no protruding edges or so, that felt with which the box is covered was also well attached and clean. So processing with my boxes already times top. (Stop always in relation to the price!)
Then to the sound:
Klangmäßig what is probably also the most important thing in a speaker I have also been relatively surprised. The speakers sound really good for the price. The high frequency horns don't sound so squeaky and monotonous.
And also the 10" driver makes a lot of power. This is also very noticeable because of the bass tube, which is also mounted on the back of the speaker. Clearly must say that one probably already needs/should use an equalizer so that one gets a good reasonably good sound image.
Without equalizer I would not recommend it in any case!
And yes what else is there to say. The boxes really have a lot of connection options - another plus point. Only the wood is a little thin, I guess 12mm plywood or so. But at the price just!
So can recommend the box to anyone who should definitely use an equalizer.
