Let the Lights Dance!
Want a sea of colorful lights and a strobe with dazzling beams that gives your dancefloor the perfect vibe? The DS-3 from Showlite delivers just that and can be used both in standalone and DMX mode. And the remote makes operation a breeze.
High-Power LED Technology
Four LEDs in red, green, blue and white at 3 watts each make points of light dance across the room, creating a wide-area lighting effect. Additionally, 16 LEDs at 0.5 watts deliver a first-class strobe effect. The DS-3 can operate fully automatically or synced to the music (the sensitivity of the internal microphone is continuously adjustable).
Easy Operation
Via the four buttons on the rear panel you can access a variety of parameters. A simple menu structure allows intuitive use without constantly consulting the manual. Settings can be read on the 4-digit display. Conveniently, the display switches itself on and off to avoid unnecessary stray light. The active mode can still be read from the dedicated LEDs.
Control via DMX
The Showlite DS-3 can be controlled with any standard DMX controller in either 1- or 4-channel mode. With the DMX-Out on the rear you can easily link multiple units, allowing you to install and control a lighting rig of any size.
Remote Control
Even without a controller the fixture can be operated using the included infrared remote control. You have access to color combinations, speed and strobe on/off. An important detail, especially if the derby is mounted out of reach on the ceiling.
Master/Slave Operation
The hybrid unit can be used as either master or slave. Simply connect multiple units and designate one as the master. For example, the unit with the best microphone signal can take the lead while all others run in sync.
Professional Features
Not only does the DS-3 feature a roadworthy metal housing, it also includes an eyelet for safety cables and an IEC power output to power the next unit.
