Compact Classic Tone for Beginners and Purists!
The Epiphone MB-100 is an affordable 5-string open-back banjo that stands out for its light weight, solid build, and warm, focused tone. With a mahogany body and neck, a Remo head, and a rosewood fingerboard, it provides a reliable platform for beginners, clawhammer players, or as a lightweight travel instrument.
Classic Design With Thoughtful Details
The mahogany body delivers a warm, mid-focused tone, especially well suited to old-time and folk styles. The open pot design cuts weight and makes transport easier without sacrificing tonal quality. The Remo head contributes a clear, articulated sound that's suitable for both fingerpicking and clawhammer techniques.
Playability and Craftsmanship
With a 26.25" scale and 22 frets, the MB-100 offers comfortable playability. The rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays and the slim neck allow easy fingering, even for players with smaller hands. Chrome hardware and the traditional clamshell tailpiece complete the classic look.
