Der Alpha 80 Evo ist der Referenzlautsprecher der Reihe und wird besonders für Profis empfohlen, die hohe Schallpegel und eine satte Erweiterung des Subwoofers suchen.
Dieser Monitorlautsprecher verfügt über einen 25 mm (1") Aluminium-Hochtöner mit Inverskalotte und eine Slatefiber-Membran, die in Frankreich von Focal hergestellt wird. Sein Bassreflexhorn mit großem Querschnitt reduziert störende Außengeräusche auf ein Minimum, und seine doppelte Verstärkung bietet einen Frequenzgang von 38 Hz bis 22 kHz (+/- 3 dB).
Der Alpha 80 Evo zeichnet sich durch eine hervorragende Dynamik, eine stabile Klangbalance von großer Neutralität und eine Vielzahl von Funktionen aus (Einsätze für die Wandmontage, automatischer Ruhemodus...). Erwähnenswert ist auch das Bassreflex-Design, das eine optimale akustische Integration in jedes Studio ermöglicht.
Alpha Evo-Monitore haben ein 15 mm dickes MDF-Gehäuse mit internen Verstärkungen, die eine hohe Gehäusesteifigkeit auch bei höchsten Schalldruckpegeln gewährleisten.
