Use this spotlight to illuminate my driveway.

The price is top and the housing is very robust. Had actually expected a plastic housing for the price, but it is made of cast metal.

The LED panel does its job. For longevity I can not yet make a statement. The heat generation is clearly visible, but keeps within limits. Whether really 5500 lumens are present, I have not determined. The floodlight moves but apparently somewhere in the range. It is nice and bright.

Poor to insufficient but are connection wiring, "assembly" of the LED driver and the installation instructions.

The poor workmanship of the electrical components can be life-threatening. The LED driver rattled in the cast metal housing (on protective earth, but not protective insulation), so I opened it up. I am a professional. In doing so, I noticed the following. The input strands of the power supply line (230 V AC) are connected to the input strands of the LED Driver in the housing towards the LED Driver with insulated crimp connectors. The insulation of the crimp connectors of the conductor, neutral conductor and PE was destroyed during crimping to the full crimp sleeve length. In the case of the neutral conductor, the metal crimp sleeve protruded from the insulation, so that a housing short-circuit could have occurred, especially since the LED Driver (metal box in the housing) is not permanently installed, but is flapping around in the housing. It is clearly evident that the crimping tool caused the insulation damage. A functioning quality assurance should have detected the defect. Apparently, crimping pliers are being used that do not fit the crimp connectors or have not been adjusted correctly.

The stranded wire ends of the installed connection cable are tinned and can therefore neither be processed with crimping nor clamping connectors (incl. wire end ferrules). The uninformed buyer is not informed that tinned strands need not be removed only if a line connection is made by soldering + heat shrink insulation (according to VDE not recommended and linked to further environmental and material conditions).

Furthermore, the enclosed installation instructions (for direct connection to the house installation) are defective. It contains instructions that cannot be reconciled with §13 of the German Low Voltage Connection Ordinance. In Switzerland the situation is different, but in Germany lamps, an electrical installation, may only be connected to the domestic electrical installation by specialist personnel from registered installation companies.

§13 NAV:
"Apart from the network operator, the work may only be carried out by an installation company registered in an installer directory of a network operator"

Installation instructions from Kirstein:
"If you do not have experience and expertise in connecting luminaires, have the connection carried out by specialist personnel."

Unfortunately, only two points. No price, no matter how favourable, can compensate for the shortcomings described.

The connecting cable is a little very short, but otherwise I am satisfied. Let's hope that the life also holds what it promises. Had already other LED brands with already failures.

I was very surprised how bright this spotlight is. A very good light output and very well distributed. Rainwaterproof and easy to install. Was a good decision and can only recommend it.

We now have almost 10 of the LED floodlights in use - I like them very much. On a riding arena we operate 3 pieces with 50 watts each, in a stable with three horse stalls two with 20 watts each (for bright light for mucking) - as well as in the yard in various places 10W floodlights with motion detectors.

The quality convinces us - because we live directly on the North Sea, the screws on the mounting bracket rust after 2-3 months - but the problem has not only these spotlights :-)


From the processing of the floodlights are very good - therefore a clear buy tip.

The LED spotlight fully meets the expectation, unfortunately, the mounted cable is too short (about 30 cm) and the exchange is somewhat cumbersome.

Robust design, processing is neat. Mounting bracket is somewhat thin, should be more stable. Light output is very good, light distribution is uniform.
Light color / color temperature has since been changed by the manufacturer, so that the now purchased 2 spotlights no longer fit so properly to the existing spotlights from 03/2016. The current spotlights have a slightly warmer light color.
Otherwise, however, everything is fine.

The floodlight is for the price a good handle. I already have several LED floodlights with and without motion detectors. There are no complaints.

Robust LED spotlight, very bright light, just right for a motion detector. What I have to criticize: I ordered two spotlights, one of them was definitely already in use! Has paint damage to the holder and has also been opened once. If the spotlight had not been installed a little higher on the house, I would have sent it back.

I ordered: 1X 30 watt floodlight and 2X50 watt floodlight.
Order and delivery were very good.
However, one of the 50 watt floodlights at the rear cover was missing a screw, in addition, the thread was damaged. Since a return shipment would have been more costly, I have eliminated the damage itself. Function (brightness) is excellent, but by a defect is my joy somewhat clouded.
Suggestion: a slightly better final inspection before shipping Finally, the floodlights make a very stable impression; I hope for a long life.

About the luminous period I can not comment, because the goods were purchased recently.
As for the quality in terms of material and workmanship, one can only marvel.
So is attached to the 50 watt spotlight with motion detector a bracket, which brings it with painting just so on 1.7mm thickness. If you fix this spotlight, it wobbles like a "duck's ass" in a light wind. It is remarkable that a radiator with 30 watts (smaller and lighter) has a bracket with a cross-section of 2.7mm!
The screwings of the electrical housing is just as amazing. Different screws in different lengths are used. So long screws are turned into the cooling fins of the housing that the thread goes into the pants.
In the interior of the electronics the miracle continues. Cables are unprofessionally joined together and covered with some silicone. A miracle, if it does not come here to the short circuit.

If one assumes that a spotlight with the same wattage also has the same hole spacing in the holders, this is a mistake. Here, too, the experts in China have other ideas. So do not drill according to the template of a spotlight should you have bought several spotlights of the same type.
The bracket on the housing is once to lock with a 14 and a 10 key.
Although I have bought about 10 emitters I would like to advise against a purchase because of the described defects.

They are perfect lamps for their money, give very good light and the housing is really waterproof. Nice small size, big beam angle but they have 1 disadvantage; after 2 years the screws of the window are rotten in the housing. We have a color filter behind the glass to make the color a little warmer and that filter loses its color after 2 years and must be replaced, this is not possible because the screws can't be removed.

Delivered in a flash, unfortunately in warm white instead of daylight white.

The FL 2020 is a small, robust bundle of energy. He brings enough light into the darkness and is priced appropriately.

I bought this spotlight for the garden to have brightness in the garden even in the dark time. You would think the sun shines at night. With the straight 30Watt the spotlight is very bright.
I can only recommend.

The spotlights make a quality impression, how long the life is remains to be seen.
But, I have to deduct two stars for the following reasons:
In total, I ordered four spotlights, all four are different in their performance. Two times a consumption of 6.8 or 6.9 watts, once 7.2 and once 7.6 instead of 10 watts as specified. For my purposes just enough, since they are used only as path lighting.
Two spotlights were poorly mounted, the seals outside the groove and crushed. Screws screwed in at an angle with force. One spotlight had no protective conductor connected, the cable lay loose in the housing, something like that must not happen. Since the CE mark is wastepaper.
Therefore, only three stars.

This was already my first reorder of the 30 and 50 watt LED floodlight. Both floodlights meet 100% my requirements for the intended use. The light output is optimal, the light color corresponds to the specifications. Am fully satisfied with the articles.

Suggestion for product improvement:
Stiffness of the retaining bracket is borderline, here a minimally higher material thickness would work wonders.
The connection cable is very short. A note on the missing plug in the article description would be helpful, not everyone interprets the picture with the cable ends accordingly.
A cable screw connection inside the headlight, for the direct connection of a cable, would be desirable.

Mechanically, unfortunately, obviously economy version - hence the very low price.
The mounting bracket is somewhat thicker can sheet and swings violently, the connection cable is firmly mounted, about 30cm long and forces one to immediately put a junction box. A meter longer would not have cost much more...

First of all, the article is worth the money. This but only if he is reworked in terms of safety and tightness. A PE (Personal earth) which is glued with silicone to the metal housing is ineffective and thus the article is no longer CE compliant. A very curved and warped lid cannot guarantee the IP65 protection. Water penetrates and the joy of the bright light is only short. However, the cover can be straightened with a little skill. More problematic is the production of a protective contact. This requires a drill and a thread cutter M4.
