Powerful Active Loudspeaker System

The DXR MkIII speakers use newly developed Class-D high-performance amplifiers delivering up to 2,000 watts. The power amps provide consistent output, large dynamic reserves and stable performance even during extended high-demand use. Thanks to the combination of efficient amplifier technology, optimized cooling and robust loudspeaker components, the series suits both mobile applications and permanent installations.

Yamaha also uses purpose-designed LF and HF drivers that are specifically tuned for the DXR MkIII series. Users benefit from improved quality control, long-term reliability and a remarkably consistent sonic performance across the entire range.

DSP Technology for Maximum Precision

A key feature of the DXR MkIII series is the powerful digital signal processing driven by a 96 kHz DSP engine. FIR-X tuning applies linear FIR filters and precise EQ corrections to significantly reduce phase discrepancies between driver paths. The result is a clear, direct and natural sound with excellent speech intelligibility and precise transient response.

In addition, the integrated Drive Motion Calibration (DMC) technology controls the woofer's movement more accurately. That reduces distortion and makes the low-frequency reproduction tighter, more defined and better controlled—even at high levels.

Intelligent DSP Features for Everyday Live Use

The DXR MkIII series is built for professional use and offers numerous practical DSP functions. Notably, the intelligent feedback suppression automatically detects and effectively reduces feedback. That makes deployments for speech reinforcement, presentations and live performances significantly easier.

The speakers also include automatic horizontal and vertical orientation detection (Auto V/H). The unit senses its position and adjusts the tonal tuning accordingly, ensuring optimal reproduction whether used at FOH or as a stage monitor.

Additional DSP modes such as FOH/MAIN, MONITOR, LIVE MUSIC, DJ or SPEECH allow quick adaptation to different applications and musical styles.

Wireless Control and Modern Operation

The new Yamaha D-REMOTE app for iOS and Android lets you remotely control and monitor the DXR MkIII series. Via the app you can adjust speaker parameters, DSP functions and system settings wirelessly. This significantly speeds up workflow when dealing with flown speakers, installations or larger setups.

The series also supports Bluetooth audio streaming for simple wireless playback. That lets you quickly and easily send music signals—ideal for mobile DJs, presentations, events or fast setups without extra playback hardware.

For intuitive on-device operation, the speakers feature a user-friendly LC display with a rotary encoder. Key functions and DSP settings can be configured quickly and directly on the unit.
