Sturdy Base for Intense Tactile Feedback!

The Xcite XBS100MK is a custom-fit mounting kit for the secure and efficient installation of the Xcite XBS100-4 Bass Shaker. The robust mounting plate made from glass-fiber reinforced ABS provides a stable connection between the bass shaker and the mounting surface. That allows the shaker's mechanical vibrations to transfer effectively into sim-racing rigs, seats, platforms, wooden structures, or metal frames. A total of 24 mounting holes enable flexible attachment to common profile spacings of 40, 60, or 80 mm. Integrated copper inserts, a damping foam underside and the supplied M4 screws with threadlocker support a durable and reliable installation.

Designed Specifically for the XBS100-4

The tailored receptacle speeds up installation and ensures a secure seat for the bass shaker. Compared with improvised fastening solutions, the mounting kit offers a defined, load-bearing mounting area where the shaker can deliver its mechanical energy in a controlled way to the respective structure.

The mounting kit is especially well suited for sim racing, gaming, home cinema, DIY audio projects and custom tactile-feedback systems. For example, it can be mounted to an aluminum rig, a seat bracket, a wooden panel or a suitable metal construction. Thanks to the versatile hole pattern, the position of the bass shaker can be flexibly adapted to each installation.

24 Holes for Flexible Profile Mounting

The mounting plate features a total of 24 fastening holes. It supports common profile spacings of 40, 60 and 80 mm and is therefore particularly suitable for aluminum profiles often used in sim-racing rigs and simulator cockpits. Attachment to wood or metal surfaces is also possible.

To fasten the mounting plate to the underlying structure you can use screws sized M6 to M8. These fastening screws are not included, as length and type depend on the individual construction. This lets you select the mounting hardware appropriate to material thickness, profile shape and the intended installation situation.

Robust Glass-Fiber Reinforced ABS

The Xcite XBS100MK is made from ABS with a 30% glass-fiber content. The reinforcement increases the stiffness and load capacity of the mounting plate, creating a solid base that performs reliably even under strong bass impulses and continuous tactile feedback.

The design integrates copper inserts to provide stable threaded connections for fastening the XBS100-4 Bass Shaker. The mounting kit thus combines low weight with a durable, practical construction for demanding audio, gaming and simulation applications.

Secure Fastening with Threadlocker

The delivery includes four black M4 x 12 mm screws. The screws come pre-treated with Loctite threadlocker, reducing the risk of the threaded connections loosening due to repeated vibration and movement.

The four screws are used to mount the Xcite XBS100-4 onto the mounting plate. Because the threadlocker is already applied, no additional liquid threadlocker is required. This simplifies installation and helps ensure a permanently secure connection between the bass shaker and the plate.

Damping Underside to Protect Surfaces

The underside of the mounting kit features a soft foam damping layer. It provides an even bearing on the mounting surface and protects sensitive surfaces from direct contact with the hard carrier material.

The damping layer can also reduce unwanted noise and disruptive contact vibrations between the mounting plate and the substrate. That supports controlled transmission of tactile feedback and prevents loose contact points or uneven surfaces from impairing the mechanical installation.

For Wood, Metal and Aluminum Profiles

The XBS100MK can be attached to a variety of constructions. In addition to typical aluminum profiles of a sim-racing rig, the plate is also suitable for wood and metal installations. This allows the bass shaker to be positioned directly under a seat, to the side of a rig, on a platform or on a custom-made bracket.

Installation is possible in almost any orientation. Depending on your setup you can install the mounting kit horizontally, vertically or in another suitable position. The decisive factor is a sufficiently stable mounting surface so the generated vibrations can be efficiently introduced into the construction.
