The Xcite XBS100MK is a purpose-built mounting kit for the safe and efficient installation of the Xcite XBS100-4 Bass Shaker. The robust mounting plate made from glass-fiber-reinforced ABS provides a stable connection between the bass shaker and the mounting surface. That allows the mechanical vibrations of the Bass Shaker to be transferred effectively to Sim-Racing-Rigs, seats, platforms, wooden structures, or metal frames. A total of 24 mounting holes enable flexible attachment to common profile grids with 40, 60, or 80 mm spacing. Integrated copper inserts, a damping foam underside and the included M4 screws with threadlocker support a durable and reliable installation.

Specifically Designed for the XBS100-4

The XBS100MK was developed specifically for the Xcite XBS100-4 Bass Shaker. The dedicated recess simplifies installation and ensures a secure fit for the transducer. Compared with improvised fastening solutions, the mounting kit provides a defined, load-bearing surface that lets the Bass Shaker deliver its mechanical energy in a controlled way to the host structure.

The mounting kit is ideal for Sim Racing, gaming, home theater, DIY audio projects and custom tactile-feedback systems. It can be mounted to an aluminum rig, a seat bracket, a wooden plate or a suitable metal construct. The versatile hole pattern lets you position the Bass Shaker flexibly to suit each installation.

24 Holes for Flexible Profile Mounting

The mounting plate features a total of 24 fastening holes. It supports common profile grids of 40, 60 and 80 mm, making it particularly suitable for aluminum profiles often used in Sim-Racing-Rigs and simulator cockpits. Attachment to wood or metal surfaces is also possible.

To fasten the mounting plate to the chosen substrate, screws sized M6 to M8 can be used. These fastening screws are not included, as the required length and type depend on the specific construction. This lets you choose the appropriate mounting hardware to match material thickness, profile shape and the installation situation.

Durable Glass-Fiber-Reinforced ABS

The Xcite XBS100MK is manufactured from ABS with a 30% glass-fiber content. The reinforcement increases the stiffness and load capacity of the mounting plate, creating a solid base that performs reliably under intense bass impulses and continuous Tactile Feedback.

Copper inserts are integrated into the design to provide stable threaded connections for fastening the XBS100-4 Bass Shaker. The mounting kit therefore combines low weight with a robust, practical construction suitable for demanding audio, gaming and simulation applications.

Secure Fastening With Threadlocker

The delivery includes four black M4 x 12 mm screws. The screws come pre-treated with Loctite threadlocker. This reduces the risk of the threaded connections loosening on their own due to recurring vibrations and movement.

The four screws are intended for mounting the Xcite XBS100-4 to the mounting kit. Because the threadlocker is pre-applied, no additional liquid threadlocker is required. This simplifies installation and helps ensure a permanently secure connection between the Bass Shaker and the mounting plate.

Damping Underside to Protect Surfaces

The underside of the mounting kit features a soft damping layer made of foam. It ensures an even contact with the mounting surface and protects sensitive finishes from direct contact with the rigid carrier material.

The damping layer can also reduce unwanted noise and disruptive contact vibrations between the mounting plate and the substrate. That supports a controlled transfer of Tactile Feedback and prevents loose contact points or uneven surfaces from impairing the mechanical installation.

For Wood, Metal and Aluminum Profiles

The XBS100MK can be fastened to a variety of constructions. In addition to typical aluminum profiles used in Sim-Racing-Rigs, the plate is also suitable for wood and metal installations. This allows the Bass Shaker to be positioned directly under a seat, to the side of the rig, on a platform or on a custom bracket.

Mounting is possible in almost any orientation. Depending on the build, you can install the mounting kit horizontally, vertically or in another suitable position. The decisive factor is a sufficiently stable fastening surface so that the generated vibrations can be efficiently introduced into the structure.
