NUX’s powerful and innovative wireless systems have enjoyed an excellent reputation for years. With the B-8, NUX now offers a compact, battery-powered transmitter for electric guitars that automatically connects to the pedal-sized receiver and integrates perfectly into the pedalboard. It operates in the 2.4 GHz WiFi band and delivers high-quality 24-bit/48 kHz audio transmission with an extremely low latency of 2.5 ms (in Low Latency mode for short ranges) up to 8.7 ms (in Stable mode for longer ranges). This promises a dynamic and lively playing experience. Depending on the environment, the range reaches up to 60 m, offering maximum freedom of movement.

Intuitive Operation for All Instruments

The NUX B-8 wireless system suits a wide range of instruments, including electric and electro-acoustic guitars, bass guitars, and electric ukuleles. Synchronization between transmitter and receiver takes only a few seconds, and the transmitter’s battery lasts up to 6.5 hours. Charging the transmitter is easy by clipping it onto the receiver’s LCD color screen. Alternatively, charging via the included USB-C cable is available. The receiver’s USB port also allows simple firmware updates and – as a nice touch – loading a custom image onto the start screen.

Innovative Design and State-of-the-Art Technology

The robustly built wireless system is ready for professional use. Beyond that, the B-8 is packed with modern, clever features that enrich the musician’s life. The "Cable Tone" function simulates the frequency spectrum of the resistance of a jack cable, delivering a "rounder, warmer" tonal character that guitarists sometimes desire in their sound despite using a wireless system.

Additionally, the B-8 offers a built-in tuner with various tuning and display modes, activated via the receiver’s footswitch. The footswitch also activates a 12-dB boost to amplify the signal or bring solos forward in the mix!

An elaborate effects loop allows effect pedals to be inserted into a buffered signal chain, sending the signal back to the amplifier cleanly and with perfect dynamic and frequency range. The balanced XLR D.I. output provides a direct connection to a mixing console or audio interface, meeting the demands of even the most sophisticated studio or stage setups.
