NUVO BAND Flute Black

Robust Flute for Flexible Music Making!

The NUVOBand FLUTE combines the classic playing feel of a flute with a durable, modern polymer body and exceptionally straightforward handling. The C flute is 100% waterproof, making it ideal not only for music schools, lessons and rehearsal rooms, but also for marching bands, wind ensembles and outdoor performances. The instrument produces a pleasantly warm tone with excellent intonation and, at just 240 g, is noticeably lighter than many conventional metal flutes. That makes the NUVO flute a comfortable blend of low weight, high durability and convincing tonal qualities.

Technical Polymer Body With Thoughtful Design

The patented design of the NUVOBand FLUTE relies on a sturdy body made from ABS with polycarbonate components. This technical material blend was engineered for strength, low weight and favorable acoustic properties. The keys are also made from a durable technical polymer. TÜV-certified materials underscore the high construction standards. Thanks to its waterproof design, the plastic flute is easy to clean and can be used in changing weather conditions.

Pleasant Response for Beginners and Advanced Players

The specially designed embouchure hole helps beginners get started and also supports advanced players in producing a full, engaging tone across the registers. The NUVOBand FLUTE therefore combines an accessible response with musical development potential. Tuned in C to the classical flute specification, it presents an interesting alternative to traditional metal flutes for lessons, ensembles, bands and orchestras.

Thoughtful Mechanism and Comfortable Playability

The mechanism features an offset G, trill keys, an adjustable construction and hex-style adjustment screws. A secured crown and sturdy stainless steel axles round out the technical equipment. Carefully positioned silicone pads and comfort pads support a secure grip and increase playing comfort during longer practice and performance sessions. The NUVOBand FLUTE is thus designed for both reliable operation and pleasant handling.

Stainless Steel Receiver for Flexible Headjoint Choice

The body has a stainless steel headjoint receiver, and the headjoint tenon is also stainless steel. The receiver matches the standard size and is designed so that high-quality headjoints from other makers can be fitted. This gives the NUVO Band Flute extra flexibility for players who later want to experiment with different headjoints or further develop their individual sound concept.

Safely Stored and Always Ready to Play

For transport and storage the flute is stowed in three parts in the padded case. The case features an adjustable carrying strap and supports secure, comfortable transport. Accessories also include the KIO "Keep it Out" wall hanger. This lets you store the instrument visibly and within easy reach, so spontaneous practice sessions are possible without the hassle of taking it out of the case. A pull-through swab, special grease for the joints, an instruction manual and a finger chart complete the practical equipment of this black, waterproof NUVO flute.
