Yamaha YCL-450 Bb Clarinet for Beginners & Advanced Players!
Yamaha designed the YCL-450 series so beginners can continue to play it well for years to come. The grenadilla wood instruments were developed using the know-how gained from Yamaha's years of experience making professional instruments.
The YCL-450 intermediate clarinet brings together a range of quality features from Yamaha's amateur and student instruments. One such feature is the 65 mm barrel, which delivers a focused tone and a quick response.
New Bell
A new resonance chamber in the YCL-450's bell helps projection and improves intonation in the low register.
"Blue" Steel Springs
Intermediate instruments should feel noticeably different from entry-level models. This is achieved in part by using superior spring material. Blue steel springs allow light, smooth, yet fast key action.
Silver-Plated Keys
The silver-plated keys not only enhance the instrument's appearance but also provide a wonderful playing feel. The so-called "power forging" technique gives the keys the necessary stability.
Straight, Tapered Undercut Tone Holes
Yamaha's intermediate instruments are characterized by the use of professional materials and features. Straight, tapered undercut tone holes ensure outstanding intonation and response and give the YCL-450 the playing characteristics of a professional model.
