Bass Clarinet with Lightweight Case
The bass clarinet, made from natural and oiled grenadilla wood, is equipped with 22 keys, 7 rings, and an Eb lever. The mechanism and bell are finely silver-plated. The peg with parquet protector is individually adjustable.
The scope of delivery naturally includes a lightweight case with backpack straps and shoulder strap, mouthpiece, reed, ligature, and a care kit with cork grease, pull-through swab, and small tools for fine adjustment.
Mouthpiece
The new flow-optimized chamber shape of the bass clarinet mouthpiece F195 from AW Woodwinds produces a full, round tone. It allows easier response and better dynamic control through the changed blowing angle. The new ergonomic outer shape relieves lip strain.
The mouthpieces are manufactured by AW Woodwinds using a pressure-free casting process from dimensionally stable high-performance polymer. The bore is precisely CNC milled. The mouthpiece is delivered in a microfiber pouch.
