Features

The instrument has a smooth key mechanism made of silver-plated nickel silver with an Eb lever. Two barrels allow different tuning of the woodwind instrument. Both barrels and the bell are equipped with a wooden ring, which positively affects response and vibration characteristics. The Lechgold BK-20/18 is a great instrument for the ambitious amateur musician.

Sound

Typical for Boehm clarinets is the overtone-rich tonal variety, which also applies to this instrument. The slightly higher weight of this instrument provides noticeably more tonal fullness.

Mouthpiece and Reed

In collaboration with Claus Raumberger, music journalist and author of "The Saxophone," the range of clarinet mouthpieces was expanded. The result is the RCR.3. The "RCR.3" delivers a strong, dark tone with voluminous depth, rounded head tones, and a powerful clarinet register. Also included is a Vandoren reed in strength 2.0 and a ligature.

Includes Case

The entire package comes in a lightweight and sturdy case equipped with 2 outer pockets and backpack straps. While the small top pocket provides quick access to essential items, the large compartment features separate pockets for check and business cards, pens, and much more.
