Free Performance

Your performance counts. The EWI5000 uses a reliable 2.4 GHz wireless connection for cable-free transmission. The included receiver ensures your performance on stage or in the studio. The wireless connection gives you maximum freedom to play without a restrictive cable.

The EWI5000 integrates easily and quickly into existing setups, and with MIDI functionality, external or virtual instruments can even be controlled. Combined with the durable, rechargeable lithium-ion battery, this wind instrument is ready to play anytime.

Expressive Playing

Your performance demands unrestricted control for maximum expression. For precise sound control, the EWI5000 features highly sensitive sensors in the mouthpiece that respond to air pressure and touch. Eight controllers let you adjust instrument and effect parameters: filter, reverb, chorus, LFO, breath amount, bite amount, semitone tuning, and fine tuning.

Different Fingerings

Whether woodwind or brass, the EWI5000 expands performance possibilities for all wind players. It supports different playing styles - fingerings can be switched between flute, oboe, and saxophone. For brass simulation, the EVI mode (Electronic Valve Instrument) is implemented.

Versatile Connections

A USB-MIDI port and a 5-pin MIDI output enable control of software synthesizers, virtual samplers, or traditional MIDI modules. A 6.3 mm output connects to an amplifier. A 3.5 mm stereo output allows quiet playing via headphones. The EWI5000 can be charged via USB cable or power adapter, both included.

Each virtual instrument can be selected and customized as desired. Available controls include a filter, two LFOs, a pan control, tune control, and numerous envelopes. Changes are transferred directly to the EWI5000, letting you create a personalized instrument collection for every gig.

Comfort Headphones Included

The KH-238 delivers full, balanced sound with rich bass and clear highs. The softly padded, wide headband is length-adjustable with 12 steps per side for an optimal fit. For extra comfort, the ear cups rotate on two axes. Thick, soft padding on the circumaural cups also provides good external noise isolation. The integrated volume control on the cable is always within reach, simplifying use with a PC or mp3 player. The 3.5 mm stereo jack offers excellent transmission quality, and a 6.3 mm stereo adapter is also included.
