Tuba

The entire tuba is made of brass, while slides are made of nickel silver. The diameter of the bell is 44 cm, the bore is between 19.0 and 21.0 mm depending on the valve. While Perinet models were chosen for the first 4 valves, the 5th valve has a rotary cylinder valve for an extended whole tone.

The machine, the heart of every brass instrument, is checked once again by a brass instrument maker in the in-house brass workshop for ease of playing and workmanship before delivery and is tuned so that it is ready to play.
