Hello dear brass instrument team,
I am looking for a lighter tuba because of shoulder problems. I currently have an old 4/4 Weltklangtuba in Bb, which has been lovingly restored almost as good as new. However, it is too heavy for outdoor use.
My question now is whether the plastic tuba made of ABS in the size of a 3/4 tuba can be played as low as my 4/4 tuba.
