The distinctive tone color and special charm of instruments from Bohemian production come from traditional manufacturing methods. This model stands out with clear intonation and good response, ideal for brass bands and players who value an authentic Bohemian sound in the trumpet register.

Optimized by Instrument Makers and Musicians

The trumpets of the renewed series from the 2025 production year (marked with "II" in the product title) have been modernized and optimized by Cerveny in collaboration with renowned musicians.

Traditional Manufacturing

The Cerveny CTR 501RTII trumpet is made of brass. Nickel silver, from which the trumpet’s leadpipe is crafted, significantly extends the instrument’s lifespan since the leadpipe is the most prone to corrosion. The valve casing (valve casings and valve outlets) is also made of nickel silver—as is the bell brace.

The traditional manufacturing of the Cerveny CTR 501RTII rotary valve trumpet forms the basis for its easy response and impressive sound projection. The bell has a diameter of 135 mm, and the bore measures 11.1 mm.

High-Quality Components for Comfortable Playing

The valve casing features minibal joints, ensuring perfect and reliable valve action. The piston valves, like the valve casings, are produced on modern CNC machining centers and then hand-lapped (finely processed and smoothed).

The ergonomically positioned trigger lever with adjustable stopper on the 3rd valve slide allows you comfortable tuning adjustments. The 2 water keys make handling the instrument easier. Plus, with the pre-installed marching lyre holder, you’re ready to play anywhere immediately.

The trumpet is, of course, delivered in a sturdy case and includes a silver-plated mouthpiece.
