The BH-231 offers a warm and multifaceted sound. High-quality stainless steel valves ensure a particularly smooth movement due to their low material weight. The baritone and bell are made of high-quality brass and the slides are made of nickel silver. The diameter of the bell is 230 mm, the bore is 12.7 mm for the first three valves and 13.3 mm for the 4th valve.
