The only drawback is the mouthpiece. It takes some getting used to, but that can be replaced! Thus it is the ideal beginner, but also advanced, possibly even professional instrument.

- visually I could not find any defects
- have played only about 1 hour with the instrument
- have still missed the crisp sound, this may be due to me or the mouthpiece
- the slides are not smooth and can be threaded only with difficulty
- the valve cover of the 1st valve could not be loosened by hand
- all other valves could be removed and oiled without problems
- did not want to use force on the 1st 'valve and have therefore sent the instrument back.
Questions about product
Question by Dominik Fras on 23.05.2019
I was wondering if this baritone can be used in orchestral and marching performances in a wind band
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
Yes, you can use this instrument also for marching performances. The pitch and playing is like an euphonium.
