The OBB-400 Oberkrainer Bellfront baritone has a brass body, 4 nickel silver valves and is clear coated. The rotatable or detachable bell has a diameter of 278.5 mm, the bore is 14.5 mm. Accessories include a lightweight case and mouthpiece.

- visually I could not find any defects
- have played only about 1 hour with the instrument
- have still missed the crisp sound, this may be due to me or the mouthpiece
- the slides are not smooth and can be threaded only with difficulty
- the valve cover of the 1st valve could not be loosened by hand
- all other valves could be removed and oiled without problems
- did not want to use force on the 1st 'valve and have therefore sent the instrument back.
