Time-Tested Classics from Vandoren!
Vandoren Traditionals are the reeds most widely used by professionals. The superiority of the traditional reeds in the blue packaging has been proven time and again over the years.
Key Acoustic Characteristics
- Excellent response across all registers, even pianissimo in the highest ranges
- Flexibility that allows legato or staccato even in very long passages
- Rich tone with plenty of body and brilliance
Traditional reeds have the finest tip and the most massive heart. The result is a fine, 'crisp' response and a full, dark tone.
From one player to another:
This reed is totally sonically neutral and therefore playable in a wide range of styles, from classical and traditional to modern music - simply the perfect all-round reed!
