6* Wave Mouthpiece — Tenor Sax

This mouthpiece, featuring a medium chamber, a high "baffle" and a large bore, delivers a powerful, punchy tone comparable to the sound of metal mouthpieces. It's extremely versatile and fits a wide variety of genres, from jazz and blues to funk and rock. With its full sound and good dynamics it also works well in pop, jazz and fusion.

FlexMaxx Ligature

The FlexMaxx ligature from AW Woodwinds can be fitted in seconds, increases perceived volume and—by improving the reed's vibrational behavior—optimizes response and pitch stability. Depending on the position of the ring-shaped FlexMaxx, the saxophone's tone changes. When the vented side faces the reed (position "Bright"), the sound opens up to a radiant tone often preferred by soloists. When the closed side faces the reed (position "Focus"), the result is a more homogeneous, warmer overall sound with greater depth. Sonically, the ligature sits between fabric ligatures (less dull) and metal ligatures (warmer and more balanced), making it highly versatile.
