6* Wave Mouthpiece Alto Sax

This mouthpiece, with a medium chamber, high baffle and a large bore, produces a powerful, meaty tone that comes close to the sound of metal mouthpieces. It is extremely versatile and perfect for a wide range of genres, from jazz and blues to funk and rock. With its full sound and good dynamics, it is equally useful in pop, jazz and fusion.

FlexMaxx Ligature

The FlexMaxx ligature from AW Woodwinds can be attached in seconds, increases perceived volume and, by improving the reed's vibrational behavior, optimizes response and pitch stability. Depending on the position in which the ring-shaped FlexMaxx is mounted, the saxophone sound changes. With the latticed side against the reed (Position "Bright"), a radiant sound unfolds that soloists often prefer. With the closed side against the reed (Position "Focus"), you get a more homogeneous, warmer overall tone with greater depth. Sonically the ligature sits between fabric ligatures (less muffled) and metal ligatures (warmer and more balanced), making it highly versatile.
