The Valeton VLP-200 is a compact Dual Independent Looper for guitar, bass and vocals that combines two full-featured loop tracks with a versatile drum machine. With 24 Bit / 48 kHz audio conversion, 99 project memories, up to 7 hours of stereo recording and 100 rhythm patterns including metronome, it gives you a solid foundation for songwriting, practicing, recording and live performance.

Two Independent Loops

The two footswitches control LOOP 1 and LOOP 2 independently. This lets you record, play back, overdub and combine ideas separately and stay musically flexible. In SERIAL mode you switch structurally between two song sections, for example verse and chorus. In FREE mode both loops run in parallel and independently, so the VLP-200 behaves like two separate loopers in a single pedal. That makes it especially appealing to guitarists, bassists, singer-songwriters and creative live performers.

Drum Machine and Intelligent Sync

The integrated drum machine offers 100 rhythm patterns including metronome and 16 different drum styles such as Rock, Pop, Electronic, Jazz and Metal. The 24 Bit / 48 kHz drum samples provide a clear, musical foundation for practicing and arranging. When the drum machine is active, the VLP-200 can automatically align your phrases to the beat so loops stay rhythmically stable and musically natural.

Intuitive Recording and Overdub Functions

The Auto-Record function starts recording automatically as soon as an input signal is detected. This is especially useful when you need both hands on your instrument to start a loop. Overdubs can be recorded as integer multiples of the base loop length, so longer layers sit cleanly on the master loop. The four-color LED halos on the footswitches clearly indicate record, playback, overdub, standby, delete and undo/redo.

Flexible Connections for Modern Setups

The VLP-200 supports mono and stereo setups with two 6.3 mm mono jack inputs and two 6.3 mm mono jack outputs. INPUT-L can be used for instruments or dynamic microphones, making the pedal suitable for vocals as well. Additionally there is a 3.5 mm stereo headphone output, MIDI IN/OUT via 1/8" stereo jack, a CTRL jack for external footswitches and USB 2.0 Type-C for software connectivity.

Storage, Software and Robust Construction

The internal memory manages up to 99 recording projects and about 7 hours of stereo audio in WAV format. Via the compatible software for Windows and macOS you can import and export audio and perform firmware updates. The robust die-cast metal housing makes the VLP-200 reliable for pedalboard, rehearsal room and stage.
