Hybrid Shells For Powerful And Musical Sound
The rack tom and floor tom shells are 6 mm hybrid shells made from 4 outer plies of birch and 2 inner plies of maple. The bass drum is built from 7 mm with 5 outer plies of birch plus 2 inner plies of maple. This material mix combines birch's focused projection and punch with maple's harmonic warmth and balanced overtone spectrum. The result is a sound that convinces in both modern and classic styles. From clearly articulated toms to a punchy bass drum, this set provides a professional foundation for versatile drumming.
Hyper-Drive Configuration For Fast Response
The Hyper-Drive configuration is a modern take on proven sizes. Included are a 22" x 18" bass drum, two rack toms at 10" x 6.5" and 12" x 7", and two floor toms at 14" x 12" and 16" x 14". The shallower rack toms promote quick response, concise tone development and a particularly comfortable feel. At the same time you gain more setup flexibility and improved sight lines to the kit and surroundings. This configuration really shines in compact or ergonomically optimized setups.
