The FANTOM allows controlling software synthesizers directly via the integrated touchscreen and driving modular and analog synthesizers through the two CV/Gate outputs. Additionally, the FANTOM functions as a high-quality audio interface with up to 16 stereo outputs and three stereo inputs.

The Roland Fantom is a new concept of a synthesizer that is continuously evolving.

Usually, synthesizers are designed with mostly fixed internal software, and updates and expansions are only limitedly possible. The Roland Fantom, however, is designed to be equipped with new functions and technologies via the Roland Cloud platform.

The Roland Fantom is equipped with four Behaviour Modelling Core (BMC) processors. The enormous power of these processors allows simultaneous use of high-quality sound engines like V-Piano, Zen-Core, Virtual Tonewheel Organ, SuperNatural, Model Expansions, and Multi-Sampling.

The Fantom belongs to the Roland Zen-Core-compatible instruments, enabling sounds created on the Fantom to be imported into other Zen-Core-compatible instruments (such as the Jupiter-X and Zenology PRO software). This takes the possibility of sound exchange to a new level.

The internal processors operate at very high speed; all functions, sounds, and expansions are available within less than 40 seconds after powering on.

The user interface is clear and easy to understand. The large, touch-sensitive color screen allows direct access to sounds and parameters, hardware controllers are high-resolution (1024 steps), enabling very fine parameter adjustments.

The Fantom is phenomenally fast for capturing your own musical ideas. The pattern sequencer and TR-REC function ensure a quick workflow. Recordings are saved together with the sounds and can be recalled directly as a scene.

For musicians and producers using software products in the studio or for concerts, the Fantom offers luxurious software integration for DAW programs like Ableton Live, Logic Pro-X, and Mainstage.

The keyboard stand consists of three parts, which are easily fixed using the included Allen key—done. When disassembled, the Pro stand can be stored space-saving or transported in a car. The height can be adjusted in 14 steps from 59 to 89 cm, allowing the perfect setting for every body size and stage condition. The stepless width adjustment from 61 to 95 cm ensures a secure hold—even for large and heavy stage pianos. Not only keyboards and stage pianos are well supported on this heavy-duty stand. Up to 100 kg, large mixing consoles also stand very securely on the 50 cm long support arms.

Keyboard Bench

The extra-wide seat surface with its 5 cm thick foam padding is perfect for long playing sessions and remains comfortable even after hours. The elegant, easy-care, and robust faux leather cover not only looks good but can also be easily cleaned after a sweaty performance. The bench height is adjusted using a sturdy pin system and four locking points under the seat surface, fixed by a large clamp on the X-shaped legs. To ensure stability, the pins can be secured with small locking screws.

Headphones

The Pronomic KH-900 is a professional stereo headphone offering excellent sound characteristics combined with maximum wearing comfort at a budget-friendly price. The soft, wide faux leather headband automatically adjusts to head size, ensuring a comfortable fit. The KH-900 features a wide frequency range from 15 to 25,000 Hz, delivering balanced, nuanced sound with brilliant, clear highs and precise, rich bass. With a low impedance of only 32 ohms, the KH-900 performs impressively even on very low-power headphone outputs like MP3 players or smartphones, providing powerful sound and ample headroom. The 3.5 mm stereo jack offers excellent transmission quality. A 6.3 mm stereo jack adapter is also included.
