The Elixir strings in Light (.012 .016 .024 .032 .042 .053) are actually my favorite strings for acoustic guitars, however, for the first time for a Sigma Jumbo, I tried this Light/Medium variety with the gauges .012 .016 .024 .035 .045 .056. I also tuned the strings to a special David Crosby tuning: D-H-D-G-A-D. Beautiful sound, I am very pleased!

I really like these sides, have also tried them in many variations. Basically, I would no longer switch to normal sides for acoustic guitars, because I just never manage to keep them rust-free without treating them every day. That's just my personal opinion though.
I was very impressed that the sound is quite normal metallic and rich, although they are coated .
