Reinforced Plain Strings - Super Slinky RPS Nickel for Electric Guitar!
The wrapped Ernie Ball RPS strings are based on special thicknesses and size ratios between winding wire and steel core. They deliver balanced, powerful overtones and the characteristic Slinky playing feel.
The plain strings in these sets last longer and stay in tune better than conventional plain strings. A patented brass wire winding at the ball end of the plain strings minimizes string breakage and slipping exactly where it most commonly occurs.
RPS - Especially Tear-Resistant!
The foundation for the RPS strings is the Slinky Nickel strings, but the plain strings are additionally wrapped with bronze at the ball end. This ensures more tuning stability (vintage-style tremolo) and makes the string especially tear-resistant.
