The Martin D-X2E Billy Strings is inspired by Billy’s love for his pre-war D-28 while offering a more accessible option for fans and players alike. It features the same unique 25-inch scale length and slimmer nut width as its high-end counterpart, making it easier to play fast, intricate lines while maintaining a comfortable feel.
The dreadnought guitar sports a solid spruce top with back and sides made from Brazilian rosewood and delivers a powerful, resonant tone suitable for both traditional and modern acoustic styles. Open nickel tuners, an ebony fretboard with abalone inlays, and a Style 28 rosette give it a classic touch, while the Martin E1 electronics and built-in tuner make it stage-ready. Complete with a hemp softshell case, the D-X2E Billy Strings is a rugged, reliable instrument that reflects its passion for pushing boundaries and blending genres. Each guitar comes with a custom paper label featuring Billy’s pre-printed signature and artwork.
