Martin DC-10E Modern Black - Dreadnought Cutaway with Electronics!
The DC-10E Modern Black blends spruce and sapele in a satin dreadnought cutaway to deliver punch, clarity, and a sleek, all-black aesthetic. As a bold pick from the Road Series, it's your ticket to modern tone, speed, and performance.
The Martin DC-10E Modern Black is built for the modern player who wants striking looks and dependable performance. Its satin dreadnought cutaway body pairs classic Martin tone with an elegant, all-black finish that stands out on any stage. The cutaway design makes reaching the upper frets easier and encourages exploration of the entire fingerboard.
A solid spruce top provides clarity and dynamics, while the solid sapele back and sides deliver warm midrange and strong high-end presence. The tonal character of sapele, often compared to mahogany, perfectly balances the spruce to create an instrument that's clear and versatile. The scalloped X-bracing adds extra resonance to the top and enhances projection and response, whether strumming or fingerpicking.
