The Ibanez AAD381CE from the Advanced Acoustic series pairs a generously sized Grand Dreadnought body with a solid Thermo Aged German spruce top, rosewood sides, and a carefully crafted three-piece back made of rosewood, flamed acacia and rosewood. X-M Bracing, the Advanced Access Cutaway, A.I.R.port and the integrated Ibanez electronics complete the acoustic build, creating a versatile steel-string guitar for unplugged playing, stage use and recording.

Grand Dreadnought And X-M Bracing

With the Advanced Acoustic series Ibanez reinterprets the traditional dreadnought concept in its own way. The Grand Dreadnought body provides the structural basis for a powerful acoustic character and a wide dynamic range. The solid Thermo Aged German spruce top works together with the X-M Bracing. Rosewood sides and the three-piece back with a center panel of flamed acacia complement the elaborately crafted body. The rosewood binding with a rounded body edge adds a detail focused on playing comfort.

Low Oval Grip Neck And Advanced Access Cutaway

The neck of flamed maple features Ibanez's Low Oval Grip profile and a rounded fingerboard edge. Together with the rosewood fingerboard and its 400 mm radius, this creates an ergonomically designed neck for comfortable chord work and precise single-note attack. The Advanced Access Cutaway eases access to the higher frets. The dovetail neck-to-body joint is positioned at the 14th fret, while the 650 mm scale length and the 43 mm wide bone nut combine classic dimensions with the modern concept of the AAD series.

A distinctive feature of the Advanced Acoustic series is the Ibanez A.I.R.port. The additional opening channels part of the sound generated inside the body directly toward the player, allowing you to perceive your instrument more immediately while playing. T-bar Pickup And AEQ-TP2 Preamp

For amplified use the AAD381CE is equipped with an Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup and the Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp. Volume, Bass and Treble controls let you shape the output directly on the instrument. The built-in tuner has a separate on/off switch, which makes tuning on stage or during rehearsal particularly straightforward. In addition to the 6.3 mm jack output there's a balanced XLR output, allowing flexible connection to acoustic amps, mixers and other audio equipment.
