Epiphone J-45 Studio EC Acoustic Guitar in Natural Including Gigbag!

The Epiphone J-45 Studio EC is part of the brand-new Epiphone Studio Acoustic Collection. These guitars were completely redesigned to deliver the most authentic and affordable acoustic instruments inspired by the legendary Gibson designs. The J-45 Studio EC blends vintage charm with modern craftsmanship and is built to produce an emotive, resonant tone that's perfect for blues and folk enthusiasts.

Based on the classic Gibson J-45 "The Workhorse", the J-45 Studio EC features a slope-shoulder body with a cutaway and a 24.75" scale, just like the Gibson model that inspired it. The cutaway body provides easy access to the upper frets. The J-45 Studio EC delivers a warm, full-bodied tone with exceptional clarity, making it ideal for a wide range of musical styles. It sports a layered mahogany body with a solid spruce top for a responsive, balanced voice and outstanding dynamic range that only improves with age.

The mahogany neck is glued into the body with a tapered dovetail joint and sports a Rounded 'C' profile for comfortable playability. It’s fitted with a rosewood fingerboard with 20 standard frets and simple pearloid dot inlays. The strings pass over a compensated plastic nut and are anchored by ivory-colored bridge pins at the belly-up rosewood bridge.

Epiphone also added other details to enhance the J-45 Studio EC’s vintage vibe, including a teardrop-shaped dark tortoiseshell pickguard, three-on-a-plate tuners with ivory plastic buttons, and a 1960s Kalamazoo-style headstock proudly stamped with the Epiphone logo in gold silk-screen.

The J-45 Studio EC is equipped with Fishman electronics, including an S-Core under-saddle pickup and a Fishman Presys II preamp with side-mounted controls for volume, bass, treble and phase. It also features a convenient built-in electronic tuner for quick, easy tuning. The Epiphone J-45 Studio EC sports a gloss finish and is available in two vintage-inspired colors: Natural and Vintage Sunburst. Both right- and left-handed versions are offered. A standard gigbag is included.
