A Stage Piano That Feels Like It Was Tailored Just for You!
The McGrey SP-100 is a stage piano perfectly equipped to meet the needs of keyboard beginners. Are beginners eager to deal with countless complicated technical functions? No, of course not! That’s why the SP-100’s feature set is deliberately kept user-friendly and clear, while still leaving plenty of room for your individual creativity. Does a beginner want a high-quality keyboard from the start, equipped with hammer action and touch sensitivity to support authentic, dynamic, expressive piano playing? Absolutely! And that’s exactly why the SP-100 focuses heavily on meeting the high demands of a truly good keyboard!
The Key to Success: High-Quality Keyboard with Hammer Action
The SP-100 is equipped with a keyboard whose quality in this price range is usually just a wish. The hammer-weighted keys provide a slight resistance when pressed, delivering an absolutely natural playing feel, just like on acoustic pianos. Moreover, you can adjust the keyboard’s touch sensitivity to best suit your personal playing style. For example, younger beginners may have a relatively soft touch, resulting in a more subdued sound. Choosing the "Soft" touch sensitivity setting rewards even gentle key presses with full sound volume.
Headphone Jack
For piano beginners, it’s especially important that their instrument has a headphone jack. Once headphones are connected to the SP-100, sound is routed exclusively to them, muting the stage piano’s speakers. This way, you can practice at home anytime without disturbing roommates or neighbors.
Practice, Record, Listen
The SP-100 features a recorder. This not only helps you track your playing progress but also adds lots of fun and experimentation! You can record your piano playing on two independent tracks. That means you can record a piece on the first track, then play it back while recording a second melody on the second track. It’s a great way to practice right and left hand separately or play four-hand pieces solo! If needed, the built-in metronome helps you keep the tempo.
Reverb and Chorus
Reverb and chorus let you add hall and chorus effects of varying intensity to your playing. Both effects can be applied to any of the 8 available voices – piano, electric piano, harpsichord, vibraphone, concert guitar, organ, strings, and bass – giving your piano playing a special acoustic spatiality.
Split and Layer
These modes allow you to combine two voices differently. With Split, you divide your keyboard into two zones and assign two different voices to your left and right hands. With Layer mode, two voices sound simultaneously when you press a key.
Sustain Pedal
The sustain pedal makes played notes ring out longer. Alternatively, you can connect a soft pedal or a dual soft/sustain pedal to the stage piano (not included).
MIDI/USB Out and Line In/Out
Using the MIDI and USB ports, MIDI data from the SP-100 can be sent to other MIDI-capable devices. Detailed explanations of MIDI possibilities are in the manual included with the McGrey stage piano. The line-out jack allows connection to external amplifiers, while the line-in jack lets you integrate external playback devices into the SP-100, enabling you to play along directly with your favorite songs or playalongs.
Detachable Keyboard Stand with Height Adjustment!
This very sturdy, double-braced keyboard stand provides secure support for all common stage pianos, master keyboards, portable keyboards, and synthesizers up to 30 kg. Its extremely robust construction makes it ideal for tough everyday use on stage. The durable rubber sleeves ensure a slip- and scratch-resistant grip, and the practical floor protectors (4 on the feet and 2 on top) stabilize the stand even on uneven surfaces. To shift weight or balance, the rubber protectors can be rotated as needed. All metal parts have a durable powder coating for long service life. Of course, it can be completely disassembled quickly for easy transport and space-saving storage.
Fits Your Ears, Stays on Your Head – For Those Who Like It Comfortable & Professional
The KH-238 delivers a full, balanced sound with rich bass and clear highs. It offers plenty of volume while maintaining clean and precise stereo imaging. The softly padded, wide headband is adjustable in length with 12 steps per side for optimal fit. For even more comfort, the ear cups rotate on two axes. The thick, soft padding of the circumaural cups also provides good external noise isolation.
The volume control integrated into the cable is always within reach, making it easy to use with a PC or mp3 player. The 3.5 mm stereo jack plug ensures excellent transmission quality, and a 6.3 mm stereo jack adapter (nickel-plated) is also included.
...thanks to the extensive features and easy operation, not only piano beginners but also advanced musicians won’t be able to keep their fingers off the keys!

Questions about product
Question by Uwe Oser on 11.07.2021
Hello, about the McGrey SP-100 Plus Piano Stage Set:
It has no USB-A port - is there still a way I can connect a smartphone? Can you put any adapter cables together there via USB-B, or then you still do not have the necessary functionality?
Thanks in advance
Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:
A smartphone can be connected via the USB-to-Host port. For this, you need a USB-to-Host cable and a corresponding adapter for the phone (OTG adapter/Lightning adapter). You even have more functionality via this port than with a USB-to-device port (the normal USB port).
