Fender Duel Pugilist Distortion - 2-Channel Distortion Pedal from Fender!
The Duel Pugilist offers the same distortion voicings as Fender’s popular Pugilist pedal, but with several new combination options.
The Duel Pugilist features three operating modes: Series, Mute, and Parallel. The Series mode lets you stack the two distortions like two separate pedals, while the Bypass mode allows blending two different distortions or a clean sound with a distorted one. The Mute mode lets you use one distortion sound as the main tone and layer another distortion for extra fullness and complexity on top. The pedal also includes an additional 2-band master shelving EQ.
The Duel Pugilist was developed by Fender’s in-house tone experts and is a completely new Fender circuit. The chassis is made from lightweight, durable anodized aluminum, and the knobs with LED backlighting let you see your settings at a glance even on a dark stage.
