The RCF SUB 18-AX is a high-performance active 18" PA subwoofer for live sound, DJs, bands, mobile PA and professional event production. With 2,200 Watt Peak, 1,100 Watt RMS, 135 dB Max SPL, a bass-reflex enclosure, digital crossover, DSP presets, touch display and Bluetooth control via the LiveRemote app, it delivers controlled low end with high precision and impressive dynamics.
Powerful 18" Bass for Stage and Events
The built-in 18" woofer with a 4.0" voice coil provides powerful low-frequency reproduction from 35 Hz to 120 Hz. That makes this active subwoofer an ideal bass extension for 10", 12" and 15" tops. The Class-D amplifier supplies ample headroom and impresses with fast response, efficient operation and reliable performance for both mobile and fixed PA applications.
Digital Control with DSP and Presets
The SUB 18-AX offers integrated speaker management right in the subwoofer. Digital crossovers, recallable presets, an 8-band EQ, delay up to 45 m, routing, cardioid mode and top/sub alignment allow precise tuning to the room, setup and speaker system. The 2.4" color touch display, rotary encoder and intuitive menu make operation quick and straightforward.
LiveRemote App for Flexible Control
Via the RCF LiveRemote app you can comfortably control key functions from an Android or iOS device. Crossover presets, system EQ, delay settings and individual parameters can be adjusted directly from your smartphone or tablet. With two subwoofers a 2.2 configuration is also possible, making the SUB 18-AX especially flexible for professional setups.
Rugged Enclosure for Heavy-Duty Use
The sturdy multi-ply wooden cabinet with a hard-wearing polyurea coating is built for regular transport and demanding deployments. Side handles, M20 threads for distance rods, a steel grille with acoustically transparent protective foam and Powercon TRUE1 TOP connectors provide practical reliability. Bass Motion Control protects the woofer from over-excursion while preserving natural bass reproduction.
