For Years The Yamaha U Series Has Been The First Choice At Many Training Institutions, Among Professional Musicians And Knowledgeable Hobby Pianists!
The 131 cm tall Yamaha U3 piano stands out with strong presence and unrivaled tonal qualities. The Yamaha U3 delivers a rich sound with a balanced and consistent tonal character across the entire keyboard.
The U3's special rib arrangement gives the soundboard added strength, while new bracing spreaders and other improvements increase rigidity, resonance and overall stability. For the hammers of the Yamaha U3, specially selected materials are used for each model to ensure optimal tone, good sound reproduction and long-lasting durability.

Professionally Restored!
We have our used Yamaha pianos professionally restored in the Far East. The instruments are almost completely disassembled and defective parts are replaced. Felts and leather of the main action are renewed, the tuning pins and pinblock are checked and adjusted, hammer felts are shaved, needled and re-voiced, and the damper felts are refurbished.
Afterwards, all keys and brass parts are cleaned and polished. The finish is touched up or renewed if necessary and then polished to a high gloss.
The instruments make their way to us by shipping container so that, before delivery to you, our piano builder can carry out final regulation and tuning. That way you receive a characterful piano in flawless condition that will fully convince you with its brilliance, tonal richness and appearance.
What Our Customers Say About The Used Yamaha Pianos From Our Range...
"The Yamaha U1 is a very well-known piano that, thanks to its excellent sound and attractive appearance, has played an important role in the music world for many decades. The question is: does that also apply to a used U1 instrument?
Our music school FIT IN music in Hildesheim has now received its second used U1 from Musikhaus Kirstein. Both pianos were perfectly restored and tuned and arrived in such good cosmetic condition that you would never suspect you were looking at an older instrument. Big praise to the Musikhaus Kirstein team for the excellent restoration! Our teachers are very satisfied with the sound of both pianos and that satisfaction carries over to the students, young and old alike. From our side an absolute purchase recommendation! We will order the next Yamaha U1 from here again!"
Customer Fit in Music from Hildesheim
"After my 107-year-old 2-meter grand provided me with nearly 20 years of faithful service, I wanted to switch to a space-saving, somewhat less sonically dominant upright instrument. The idea that a high-quality digital piano might be an alternative turned out to be the wrong decision, which, thanks to the very customer-oriented approach of Musikhaus Kirstein, was easy to reverse! I then decided on a Yamaha U3. I must admit I was a bit uneasy ordering a used acoustic piano without having seen, played or heard it beforehand. So I was all the more pleased when the carrier delivered the eagerly awaited instrument after only a short wait: the piano is visually and technically in impeccable condition, the action and touch are extraordinarily precise, and the tone and intonation are very balanced and pleasant! This is how a piano should be!"
