Compact Halogen Transformer for Reliable Lighting!

The electronic halogen transformer LT 2-2 L reliably converts 220 to 240 Volt AC into an 11.5 Volt AC output and is designed to operate 12 Volt halogen lamps in an operating range of 35 to 105 Watts. With its SlimLine housing, short-circuit protection, overload protection, thermal protection and 91% efficiency at full load, this transformer, converter or power supply is especially suitable for clean indoor lighting installations.

Efficient Power Supply for 12 Volt Halogen Lamps

The transformer is designed for halogen lamps with a 12 Volt operating voltage and provides a stable low-voltage supply. The specified minimum load of 35 Watts is important to ensure connected lamps operate correctly. If it is not met, the light may be dim or fail to light. The LT 2-2 L is therefore a suitable solution for classic halogen lamps, recessed fixtures, furniture lighting and many 12 Volt lighting systems where an electronic transformer or low-voltage transformer is required.

SlimLine Housing for Flexible Installation

Thanks to its slim profile, the transformer can be integrated space-efficiently. Dimensions (W×H×D): 130 x 40 x 20 mm make it particularly interesting for compact installation situations, suspended ceilings or narrow mounting areas. Connection and installation must only be carried out by qualified personnel or a licensed electrician with the power off. For 230 Volt components, use a cable of at least 0.75 mm².

Protection Features for Safe Operation

The electronic transformer features short-circuit protection, overload protection and thermal protection. These safety features support reliable operation and protect the installation in case of technical faults. The specified temperature range is Ta 40 °C and Tc 80 °C. The device is not suitable for outdoor use or wet rooms and should be operated only in dry conditions, correctly and in accordance with the safety instructions.

Dimmable and Energy Efficient

The LT 2-2 L is dimmable with a suitable phase-cut dimmer, allowing flexible adjustment of the light mood, provided the connected halogen lamps and the dimmer are designed for dimming. At full load, the transformer achieves an efficiency of 91%. Power consumption in no-load and standby modes is 0.4 Watts each; in networked standby operation it is 0 Watts.
