JBL LSR 310S 10" Studio Active Subwoofer!

The active LSR310S 10" subwoofer is the perfect complement to the LSR305 and LSR308 studio monitors. It extends the frequency range down to 27 Hz. The magnetically shielded 10" long-throw driver fires downward ("down-firing"). Together with the flow-optimized Slip Stream bass-reflex port, it delivers deep, powerful, and authentic bass reproduction with levels up to 113 dB. Combined with LSR305/308 and the LSR310S subwoofer, it creates a high-quality monitor system with an unbeatable price/performance ratio.

The subwoofer houses active digital electronics consisting of a modern 200-watt Class-D power amp and switchable filters for the left and right outputs. In setups with LSR305 or LSR308, the "80 Hz" filter is recommended. The "XLF" setting crosses over at 120 Hz and also noticeably boosts frequencies around 60 Hz. This setting emulates the sound character of clubs and discos. The "external" setting uses no filters and is designed for operation with external DSP controllers.

The unit also features balanced inputs via XLR and TRS jacks. The two XLR outputs are used to connect the monitors. Input sensitivity can be switched from -10 dB to +4 dB. To adapt to room, placement, and system configuration, the subwoofer signal can be rotated 180° in phase.
