Genelec 8330A SAM - Active Studio Monitor with DSP Filters!
The 8330A studio monitor from the Genelec SAM series perfectly adapts to the monitoring environment. Especially in small rooms with challenging acoustics, it creates significantly improved listening conditions.
Automatic calibration and control are handled via the GLM software. With up to 16 fully parametric and 4 shelving filters, it drastically reduces distorting effects from room modes. The sound image is linearized, and the high resolution and transparency guarantee relaxed, analytical listening.
Housed in a sturdy die-cast aluminum enclosure, two Class-D amplifiers deliver 50 watts each for the woofer and midrange driver. Through the bass reflex port, the speaker produces deep-reaching bass despite its compact size. Rounded enclosure edges enhance localization and spatial imaging. And the DCW waveguide ensures linear dispersion with a wide listening area.
