Genelec 8040B - Active Studio Monitors for Mixing and Mastering!

The Genelec 8040 is a studio monitor designed for music production, post-production, and broadcast. It enables fatigue-free monitoring and objective mixing with clearly defined bass reproduction.

The speaker features a die-cast aluminum enclosure, making it low-resonance and stable. The drivers are protected by grills. Rounded enclosure edges and sound guidance ensure optimal spatial imaging and a wide listening area. The bass reflex design delivers precise and deep bass response down to 41 Hz.

The Genelec 8040 offers high headroom. With two low-distortion 90-watt amplifiers, it achieves a sound pressure level of 105 dB. It is therefore suitable for medium-sized rooms up to approx. 30 m². Switchable filters allow adaptation to the placement.

Threaded holes and matching accessories simplify wall or ceiling mounting. The Genelec 8040 features an automatic power on/off function that can be disabled if needed.

Pronomic Stand

The Pronomic SLS-10 is the best choice when you want to flexibly and securely position your monitor speakers, DJ monitors, or hi-fi speakers in the studio or at home. With its heavy triangular base, the stand can also be placed easily in room corners. The Pronomic speaker stand is height-adjustable in 6 steps from 80 cm to 130 cm. To prevent the top part from slipping unintentionally, the stand has a safety pin. To compensate for uneven floors, the rubber feet of the stand can be adjusted in height. Alternatively, the three included spike feet can be used. These spikes provide even better stability on carpets and, due to the smaller contact area, higher decoupling of the speakers from floor vibrations.
