The Genelec 8010 is the ideal active monitor for computer workstations, broadcast and OB van use, and mobile recordings thanks to its compact dimensions.
The robust die-cast aluminum enclosure is acoustically optimized. The rounded enclosure edges ensure a precise, balanced stereo image. The drivers are protected by grilles. Threaded holes and matching wall and ceiling mounts facilitate flexible installation.
The two Class-D amplifiers of the Genelec 8010 deliver clear and neutral sound even at high volumes. The optimized bass reflex tuning allows surprisingly good bass reproduction for its small size.
Via switchable filters, the active monitor can be adapted to its placement. The frequency response is linearized. The IsoPod stand decouples the speaker from the surface and allows aiming toward the listening position.
There is an automatic on/off function that can be disabled if needed. For 2.1 systems, the Genelec 7040 subwoofer extends the frequency range down to 30 Hz.
Pronomic Stand
The Pronomic SLS-10 is the best choice if you want to flexibly and securely position your monitor speakers, DJ monitors, or hi-fi speakers in the studio or at home. With its heavy triangular base, the stand can also be placed easily in room corners. The Pronomic speaker stand is adjustable in 6 steps from 80 cm to 130 cm in height. To prevent the top part from slipping unintentionally, the stand features a safety pin. To compensate for uneven floors, the rubber feet of the stand can be height-adjusted. Alternatively, the three included spike feet can be used. These spikes provide even better stability on carpets and, due to their smaller contact area, higher decoupling of the speakers from floor vibrations.
