Focal Alpha 65 Evo Set with Pronomic SLS-10 Speaker Stand!

The Alpha 65 Evo features a 1" (25 mm) aluminum tweeter and a 6.5" (16.5 cm) woofer with a carbon fiber cone developed and manufactured by Focal in France. This monitor stands out with excellent dynamics and an especially neutral sound balance. Thanks to new technologies and features, the Alpha 65 Evo is incredibly versatile.

Power & Versatility

The Alpha 50 Evo and Alpha 65 Evo models are specially designed for music production and general music playback, delivering outstanding acoustic coherence regardless of the listening environment. To further enhance playback performance, Focal chose an aluminum inverted dome tweeter for wide sound dispersion and a carbon fiber cone. The recycled carbon cone is exclusively produced by the French brand in their Saint-Étienne facility and was selected for its neutrality and dynamic response. Focal constantly updates its product range, drawing on over 40 years of acoustic expertise and innovation. This is also highlighted by the new large laminar port, which minimizes distortion.

New Features

In addition to analog XLR and RCA inputs, the Alpha Evo monitors include a new TRS jack input (6.35 mm), a deactivatable automatic standby mode, and mounts for wall and ceiling installation: a truly versatile series (mixing, mastering, DJ, broadcast). Each speaker is powered by two Class-D amplifiers. Their high current capacity allows maximum control over signal dynamics and enables high volume levels without distortion. Each speaker reproduces even the smallest mix details across all music genres.

Design and Cabinet Construction

The monitors feature a 15 mm thick MDF cabinet reinforced internally to ensure maximum stability even at high sound pressure levels. For easy acoustic integration in tight spaces, a bass reflex design was chosen. Aesthetically, the classic cube shape gives way to a design with rounded corners. The side panels provide a sophisticated, robust, and modern look that contributes to excellent acoustics and a unique, harmonious character throughout the series.

Monitor Stands

The Pronomic speaker stands are adjustable in six steps from 80 cm to 130 cm in height. To prevent the top from slipping unintentionally, the stand features a safety pin. To compensate for uneven floors, the rubber feet of the stand can be height-adjusted. Alternatively, the three included spike feet can be used. These spikes provide even better stability on carpets and, due to their smaller contact area, offer greater decoupling of the speakers from floor vibrations. The speaker platform is rubberized with two foam strips, protecting the speaker from scratches and further isolating it from the stand. The speaker plate measures 23 cm x 23 cm.
