The Power of the F-Series - Here You Go
The F-series preamps integrated into the H5 Studio provide unmatched clarity (-127 dBu EIN). Thanks to two A/D converters and 32-bit float technology, they deliver an impressive 132 dB dynamic range, capturing the entire dynamic spectrum without noise or distortion.
The Controls Are Back
The 32-bit float and 16/24-bit formats each have their advantages. 32-bit float protects against clipping but requires post-processing. With 16/24-bit, post-processing can be skipped, but gain must be carefully set to avoid clipping.
The H5 Studio offers the best of both worlds with 32-bit float and dedicated gain controls: no clipping risk, yet no need for post-processing.
Wireless Freedom
The WLM-1* is a two-channel wireless system with two transmitters and one receiver. The transmitter’s built-in microphone delivers clear, balanced sound at volumes up to 130 dB SPL.
USB Audio Interface
The H5 Studio is a USB audio interface with four inputs and two outputs for Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android, supporting recordings in 32-bit float and 16/24 bit. Stream live and simultaneously record a backup on the microSD card.
Six Tracks
The H5 Studio records up to six tracks simultaneously: four individual tracks plus a stereo mix, with sampling rates up to 192 kHz for detailed sound.
Protection for Your Sound
Effective RF shielding blocks interference from smartphones and Wi-Fi routers, so you can record safely in any environment.
Advanced Limiters
The H5 Studio features advanced look-ahead limiters that detect potential clipping in advance and prevent distortion before it reaches the recording track.
Smart Synchronization
The TCA-1 Timecode Adapter* generates and outputs timecode or syncs to an external clock source. You can even receive timecode wirelessly from an ATOMOS UltraSync BLUE.

Up to 15 hours of recording with four AA alkaline batteries. Power via USB port with a mobile USB battery or AC adapter (sold separately: AD-17).

The Inputs

Accessibility
The H5 Studio was designed to be accessible for blind and visually impaired users. Acoustic guidance is provided via the built-in speaker or headphones during menu navigation. Creatives can choose from English, Spanish, French, Japanese, German, Italian, and Chinese languages.
