The dBTechnologies ES802 Entertainment System is an active, compact, yet powerful column speaker system. It consists of a high-performance 12" plywood subwoofer and two ultra-light tops, each equipped with 4x3" neodymium speakers. These connect into a single unit with a clever one-hand mechanism.
The system is powered by the latest generation Digipro digital amplifiers delivering 1200W/PRG and reaching a maximum SPL of 124dB. The deliberate omission of fans reduces dust and dirt buildup, minimizing maintenance and ensuring an exceptionally long lifespan.
The integrated 24bit/48kHz digital processor offers eight presets selectable via rotary encoder: Flat, Bass Boost, Bass Reduction, Playback, Club, Vocal, Monitor, and Anti-Feedback. Additionally, the ES802 system features active peak and RMS limiters as well as thermal protection circuitry.
Inputs include an XLR/Jack combo socket switchable between microphone and line level via an input selector. A stereo RCA input is also available for connecting CD/MP3 players.
For larger setups, two ES802 units can be linked via the XLR output to form a system. Satellite connection is done through Speakon connectors, which also feature mounts for 25mm speaker stands.
