Pronomic V-Array Compact Set

I have the new Pronomic V Array Compact Set now 3 weeks.
I am really positively surprised.
Many thanks to Ruben and team for the top service.
A really elegant system and the sound is really good.
I think that I still take a 208 Sub in addition.
I am already curious about the first job.
The PA is intended for small duo live music jobs up to 100 people.
For larger jobs I use PL Audio.

I got the new Pronomic V-Array Compact from Musikhaus Kirstein.
The technical data and dimensions can be found in the catalog of Musikhaus Kirstein.
When I unpacked the individual components, I noticed the high quality of the individual speakers were made. After successfully reading through the instructions, I quickly got the hang of mounting the tops. When I switched them on, I thought that I had not connected something correctly, but everything was correct.
No hum and no noise ... nothing. Then again I was thrilled.
The sound is the "KRACHER"! The frequencies are very balanced in all areas of highs, mids and lows. As a sub I chose the double 8, which is perfectly sufficient for small events with 2 tops on the right and left.
However, if you want and need more pressure, there is much more in the individual configuration. Visually, the PA is a real "eye-catcher". Just different from other PA's ... !
I have been advised by the employee of the PA department for a long time and also from the price similar PA - column system tested in comparison. Of course, TON is always a matter of taste and depends on the respective area of application.
I have been in this business for over 45 years now and can allow myself to make a professional judgement on this system. So, I give here a very clear buy recommendation for quality, price and performance.
In the near future there will also be transport cases for the individual systems and I think that is more than important.

The Pronomic V-Array Compact-Twin have absolutely convinced me! Despite their compact design, they deliver a powerful, clear and precise sound. I am particularly impressed by the speech intelligibility and the even sound distribution. The workmanship is high quality and the design not only looks professional, but also fits perfectly into any setup.

I will soon be testing the speakers extensively under real-life conditions and will then write a detailed review. But I can already say that these speakers are amazing!

An absolute buy recommendation for anyone looking for a powerful and compact PA system!

We ordered the largest package (venue set) in June 2024.

In the first test, we started with a subwoofer and 4 tops. The volume was moderate but the sound was super clear! Expanded to 6 tops then came the first pressure in the higher registers. This set was tested indoors in a 35m² room.

The big test with two subwoofers and 2x 8 tops was quite a challenge. Despite the rather small 4-inch speakers, the sound is super clear and produced a lot of pressure (outdoors). The bass was quite powerful with the two subwoofers.

On June 15, 2024, all three subs and 2x 8 tops were in use for an event with music from the tape (half playback), lectures and DJ.

The music from the tape was really well articulated and the bass came across extremely well. We only used a very simple mixing console without making any major detailed adjustments. Of course, you can get a lot more out of it with larger mixers. In July, the system will be used with more tops. If anything changes in the recession, we'll make an edit!

The quality of the material:
In my opinion, the speakers are quite well made. The connector functions on the tops are quite easy to use, but in some places they are too tight, so you have to use pliers to help connect the hooks and pins (but this is completely acceptable for us).

The cables are also all well made. To be honest, however, I would have been pleased if they had gone from the typical cold plugs to Powercons.

Now the shortcomings, which is why we are not awarding a full 5 stars:

1. at the price, we would have expected bags/sleeves at least for the subwoofers. I can't find any in the store either. Perhaps the support team can get in touch with us about this. In principle, you don't have any protection and have to make do with it yourself. I think that's a great pity.

2. the flying frame is very well made and survived everything well despite the strong winds last Saturday. However, we would have been pleased if a sling with shackles had been included with each frame. That just completes the set.

3. analogous to point 1: I can't find any cases in the store. Here, too, you are quite lost and have to make do yourself. With a system like this, you have to assume that you will be on the road a lot. Transporting it in cardboard boxes or on trolleys can quickly lead to damage. We now build our own cases.

As of today (June 18, 2024), we are very impressed after two "smaller" tests and a first use. In July, we will provide sound for three days from morning to evening (DJ and live music from bands). Then we will really put the system through its paces!!! Our points of criticism are really minor.

We are looking forward to it and can express our complete satisfaction with the venue package so far! We will be looking to add a fourth subwoofer in the future.

Please note: We are aware that we cannot compare JBL, HK, LD System, etc. brands with Pronomic. brands with Pronomic. But if we compare all brands, even professional companies can get a really good system. Price-performance is right and that is worth more to us personally!

A very good and inexpensive system that looks good on top and is really well made. Expansion is also possible at any time.
