Weighing in at just under 11 kg and delivering 800 Watt peak power and up to 120 dB SPL, the MAUI 5 is an ultra-compact PA and monitor system in one.
The smallest system in the MAUI family assembles in seconds thanks to a proprietary multipin connector and only four components, and impresses with wide coverage and high feedback resistance. The MAUI 5 is easy to carry and fits on any car seat. The bass-reflex enclosure of the 8" subwoofer base also houses the system's Class-D amplifier module with protection against overcurrent, overheating and short circuit, LD Systems' digital LECC signal processing and a 4-channel mixer. With the integrated Bluetooth© technology for wireless streaming and simultaneously assignable microphone, line and hi-Z inputs, you can connect a wide variety of sound sources to the MAUI 5 — e.g. playback devices and instruments like keyboards or guitars. Separate level controls, volume knobs for the subwoofer and system, and a high-shelf filter to adapt the high-frequency reproduction to the room acoustics allow a perfectly tuned performance.
